As first-time home buyers, New York real estate was a complete nightmare, and in our experience, we faced many obstacles that we did not expect. From unresponsive mortgage bankers to indecisive management companies, there are many difficulties that can delay your purchase, and believe me when I say that we faced, well, most of them. Cristina was the only effective part of the entire ordeal, and with her help, we completed the sale quickly. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and determined. Where the Seller's agent was a little lazy and a lot impatient, Cristina displayed cool authority and excellent composure. Cristina was receptive to our wish list and made sure to put us first by exploring listings we suggested, and after only two showings, showed us our new home. Cristina showed us this dream apartment, and when I called to tell her to put in an offer, she did so immediately. Sadly, a different offer was taken equal in value, but from a current tenant in the building. We felt low, but Cristina encouraged us to stay positive. Down on our luck, my wife and I found a listing with an agent who did not want to bring Cristina into the sale. This listing was not as appealing as the one Cristina showed us, but we were anxious. I consulted Cristina on this issue, and she graciously advised us to do what we believed was best. She was prepared to sacrifice the hard work she had done to ensure that our happiness was not impeded. The very next day, Cristina called to tell us that - against unlikely odds - the original sellers of our dream apartment had accepted our offer, all thanks to the opportunities that Cristina presented us with, and the confidence she instilled in us. We now live in a finely renovated 1-bedroom with a contemporary kitchen, plenty of storage, and a balcony inside of a building with some of the nicest neighbors and a 24-hour doorman. On top of it all, we got it at a price that we couldn't believe. We would not have been successful without Cristina Candio's diligence. We give her five stars because she earned every pointy bit of them, and we could not be more grateful. Is it weird to say that we love her? Is that weird? We love Cristina!
