As first-time home buyers, New York real estate was a complete nightmare, and in our experience, we faced many obstacles that we did not expect. From unresponsive mortgage bankers to indecisive management companies, there are many difficulties that can delay your purchase, and believe me when I say that we faced most of them. The Perch Society was the only effective part of the entire ordeal, and with their help, we completed the sale quickly. They are enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and determined. Where the seller's agent was a little lazy and a lot impatient, they displayed cool authority and excellent composure. Perch Society was receptive to our wish list and made sure to put us first by exploring the listings we suggested, and after only two showings, showed us our new home. They showed us this dream apartment, and when I called to tell her to put in an offer, they did so immediately. Sadly, a different offer was taken, equal in value but from a current tenant in the building. We felt low, but they encouraged us to stay positive. Down on our luck, my wife and I found a listing with an agent who did not want to bring them into the sale. This listing was not as appealing as the one the Perch Society showed us, but we were anxious. I consulted them on this issue, and they graciously advised us to do what we believed was best. Perch Society was prepared to sacrifice the hard work they had done to ensure that our happiness was not impeded. The next day, they called to tell us that, against unlikely odds, the original sellers of our dream apartment had accepted our offer, all thanks to the opportunities that the Perch Society presented us with and the confidence they instilled in us. We now live in a finely renovated one-bedroom with a contemporary kitchen, plenty of storage and a balcony inside a building with some of the nicest neighbours and a 24-hour doorman. On top of it all, we got it at a price that we could not believe. We would not have been successful without Perch Society's diligence. We give them five stars because they earned every point of them, and we could not be more grateful. We love Perch Society.

Perch Society is the best. I emailed a couple of people on various sites, and they were that got back to me right away. They also talked to us about the neighborhood and recommended spots to eat at on the day we viewed the apartments. When we left the viewings, they remained in constant contact with us and the building, trying to get us deals and the best possible apartment they could. They also contacted us after signing the lease to see if they could help with anything else, including mover recommendations. Everything they did was above and beyond. They are professional, knowledgeable, prompt, and very friendly. I did not feel pressured into anything and felt like I was in good, trustworthy hands.

That responsiveness continued throughout the entire process. My Astoria apartment hunt was very difficult due to some issues with another roommate, but they were persistent and never gave up.
